Beating the odds

After surviving a nearly fatal car crash and traumatic brain injury three years ago, Aaron Williams has become known as the local miracle boy. His parents believe the community’s prayers are what saved Aaron’s life after his father’s Camaro was rendered into a burning heap of metal. Today, Aaron spends his days like any other 19-year-old kid, taking community college classes, playing video games and pickup basketball games. However, his status as the local miracle follows him wherever he goes, and he just wants to be a “simple teenage kid.” Aaron is planning to transfer to the University of Kentucky in hopes of taking more control of his life, but his parents are concerned. One more hit to the head could be fatal.
